Review 03 - Aprilia RS 150 and Tuono 150: Italian Beauty or Beast; only time will tell.

Two bikes were revealed by Aprilia at Auto Expo 2018 which would play an important role in Aprilia’s portfolio in India market, if launched. The Aprilia RS 150 is a full fairing bike. On the other hand, Aprilia Tuono 150 is a naked street fighter bike. Both the bikes are inspired by their elder siblings RS V4 and Tuono V4.
Considering that 150cc bikes are currently a popular segment in India, the RS 150 and Tuono 150 seems to be good products that Aprilia could bring to India.
For those looking for a daily commuter along with comfortable ride and sporty image, the RS 150 and Tuono 150 are an excellent buy. Going by how Aprilia brand has priced its existing products in India, both the bikes will compete with recently launched rivals like Yamaha R15 V3, Honda Hornet and the Suzuki Gixxer SF head to head.
Both the bikes are powered with 150cc fuel Injected engine which churns out 17bhp and 14nm of torque. They both come fitted with 300mm disc up front and 218mm disc at the rear aided by ABS. Talking about suspension, duties are carried out by USD at the front and mono-shock at the rear.
While Aprilia has showcased the RS 150 and Tuono 150, the Italian brand is looking to gauge customer reactions and will then consider the bikes to be launched in India.
Being a bike enthusiast, if I were granted one wish, I would really want these bikes to enter the Indian markets and would definitely love to own one of them.
